- Geraldine Wallace Review added: 2018.03.16★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Dustbuster Wet & Dry: bought to replace my old model which was still working, but needed new filter. Outrageous cost of postage made buying a new Dustbuster (only £10 more) a no-brainer. HOWEVER, returned the first purchase as, after switching on so Tech dept could hear the loud volume over the phone - it was agreed I should receive a replacement as the fan was sounding faulty. After several week's use of the replacement, the fan became louder. Also, as the motor suction was strong, the dirt rebounded off the plastic filter and bounced out of the machine. I ended up cleaning the kitchen floor twice or more each time. i'M SO DISAPPOINTED as my old machine is back in use, working brilliantly even with the smelly old filter.
